Consolux was commissioned to complete the Mechanical & Electrical design works for the iconic Ship, in Derriford, Plymouth.
Dormant for 6 years, this huge development has once again seen the building occupied and become a thriving part of the Plymouth community, providing 800 new jobs to the city. The Ship presents flexible offices and large commercial space, a 20 office ‘Thrive’ business hub, café, nursery and crèche.
Consolux was also commissioned to complete the Mechanical and Electrical design works for the Clip and Climb new flagship facility within The Ship, Derriford, Plymouth.
The development primarily comprised of the change of use from a newspaper printing and publishing facility to a mixed use facility, which includes a Café, Office, General Industrial, Indoor Climbing Centre and Trampoline Centre. The development also incorporate the requirement of internal and external works to a listed building.
