Construction of a New Build Apartment Block in Maidstone, Kent.
Comprising of 32No. One/Two Bed Flats in Heart of Maidstone.
The MEP services for the development are to be based on traditional wet/wet systems from central plant. The added features developed for this scheme are to utilise combined heating and power, for energy efficient hot water and heating strategies, twinned with heat pump boilers and duty assist boiler plant.
The net result of the technologies employed, will result in:
- Significant cash payments back to the client via the re-newable heat incentive and
- Operating cost reductions (for the main communal electrical services) via the electrical energy production from the combined heating and power plant.
